I don't know how else to describe it - they're almost impossibly insufferable over the smallest things and trust essentially nothing you say or do, often for seemingly no logical reason. He's always had problems, even as a kid, but he's been insufferable the last few years. I tried to cut him out but family circumstances force me to be around him and it's really wearing on me.
