I was thinking about disability in a traditional sense like impairment of movement from a physical or mental illness, and not a speech impairment. I do have a lisp as well, but its not severe. I do not like the sound of my voice, especially when recorded. I have just not let it get to me and think think about it too much like my tinnitus condition. Don't let it hold you back and prevent you from enjoying life. I think the worst thing you can do is think too much about past trauma and self pity yourself. I find it a real waste of time. I have to call out what food we have on the line to the kids, over and over again. One of the choices was X and one of them was Y.
