How should Republicans change or use the Biden Rule?

President Biden first announced the Biden Rule back in 1992, saying that the Senate should consider not confirming judicial nominees in the last year of a president's term in office so that the voters could weigh in at the next election. In 2020, the Republican Party announced that the Biden Rule only applies when the President's party does not control the Senate. What should they do now?

Republicans can't do anything, given that they don't have control of the senate.

It shouldn't be for the next president to decide, either. Extend it to a minimum of 8 years.

This is going to be interesting. Did COVIDiots die off in enough numbers to make elections more assured for Democrats? Does GOP voting restrictions prevent enough votes to keep them in power? Does Biden's unfulfilled promises and heightened war tensions keep progressives home/voting third party? Here and now I think Democrats get pasted in the midterms for doing nothing with the House, Senate, and Presidency aside from decry how their majority isn't big enough to do anything with.

As for the topic, whatever is the most hypocritical. If they ever did make it a 4 year window, it'd be moved again as soon as they're in power to whatever they can do the most damage with in as little time as possible.

Republicans should all just buy an island with Trump's money, and create their own country where they can make all the laws. No more worries about Democrats, and they can make Trump their king.
