Cost varies on the school. But they do have driver eds classes all around. And some for adults. As a teen, I also had to do driving with a person who had a full license. So, if you dont have someone like that, I believe you can get those hours with the teacher. That might actually cost a little more, though. I would say to look at the places in your area, and call to ask for more specific things you might need. And if you dont have to means to get them (like another licensed driver), ask if they are able to provide them

That's the problem.
There is no other person.

I think you can maybe get a teacher to help you get hours. But I do know you may not need that much time. I heard that you can get a license without a permit (in my current state, at least) If you do still need another driver, you could try a friend or neighbor. Or possibly the drivers ed teacher. Some will also go with students so they can get their hours

for me it was 2 weeks (1 week class, 1 week driving) and cost ~$300.

for the driving exam, remember to follow the rules to a 'T', even if one wouldn't really do that in practice. if the speed limit is 50, go exactly 50 unless you have reason not to, etc.

Took me about a year, but my dad wanted to make sure I got plenty of practice with winter driving and I didn't get my permit until July.

If you skip the whole winter driving thing, probably 3-5 weeks assuming you practice every day.

Assuming you're in the U.S it's so easy to get a license yuo could probably just go, wing it and then practice after, allthat might need to try to learn is parralel parking.

Local place is $55 a lesson.
I feel like I'll need to do this eventually. I'm getting too old for this.
