No. But they start them right when the law gives them the go ahead witjout thinking about any type of advantage they're using that age and experience gives them. So, if the legal age was 14 in the U.S., a lot of them would be preying on even less experienced easier to manipulate kids than 18 year olds.

If you get to your 30s and 18 year olds don't seem like kids to you... you're probably a creep. Maybe not always, but odds are aren't leaning in your favor.

I understand it's simply a predator like desire the have for inexperienced adults or in some cases as the age of consent is less than 18, children, so they can easily manipulate them and/or said girls/women have very little experience so don't realize the dude with enough disposable cash to buy them cheap ass gifts while he works his cashier job at age 35 in the local walmart with no desire to do anything else and his parents pay his rent and/or let him live at home rent/bill free.

Public perception would still come down hard on them and they know. Plus that law is mostly so 18-19 year olds don't get thrown in prison for dating someone 2 -3years younger, I heard. Which made sense to me. I live in one those states, but no one sees it as being legal for everyone, thankfully.

I work with teenagers and am friends with three of them. 1 is really cute and fit, one is meh, and the third could be a super model if she was taller.
As physically attractive as two of them are, I'm not interested in them. There's just a giant gulf in years and experiences that makes them entirely unappealing beyond the platonic. I'm way more attracted to the 38-year old woman I met on Hinge, because, you know...she's around my age, she's got many of the same life experiences, even has more life experience than me. Her being a little older makes me like her more.

theres nothing wrong with finding them attractive. that shit is just nature being the bitch it is. as long as you dont actively try to go after them. i personally like older woman than me lol

Yeah. I think that's one the disconnects with people who prey on younger. No one is denying that to some extent aging eventually makes you less attractive. But that's just something you become better off with and less insecure when you can find a new beauty in things deeper than skin, like wisdom, understanding and just being more relatable through both having more human experience in general. It in turns help you appreciate your own aging and journey and like I said, not be insecure about it. I don't think the shallow age gap relationships are good for either side when you can get over the shallow aspects. And again, Im not saying absolutely every relationship with an age gap is emotionally and mentally completely different places. Im implying the majority are doing it for creepy shallow reasons or material gain and it's very evident. At the end of the day if I run into a 20 year old and 30 year old couple and they seem nsync and very positive for each other, Id see them as a normal relationship. But that's an oddity

I've met 21 year olds more mature than 31 year olds I've known, you're only really as experienced as well... The experiences you go through. Some people tick the developmental boxes earlier than others. Some people go through situations as teenagers that force them to grow up fast

Granted, more often than not a 21 yr old will seem like a naive kid to a 31 year old.

But yeah, you can't paint every person with the same brush

It's always good to try to be healthier, but there's always gonna be a woman out there feeling the same way as you. You don't wanna push away those people because someone irrelevant to the both of you made you bitter. Right now, there's a woman feeling insecure about her weight and feeling the same as you about the opposite sex. Unlike some men seem to think, getting sex isn't the ultimate goal for everyone. Women might be able to get sex easier, but their chances of finding a real connection is more closer to ours. And just having sex with guys that never stick around doesn't inspire confidence. You could find that woman with a similar journey and mutuai help each other get to where you wanna be. But if you're bitter, you could end up pushing the women you're not bitter about away too.

Fake not being bitter until you get around the right people and they show you not everyone is what you see on instagram and facebook
