Please don't vote if you haven't beaten every listed game without cheese

Note that these are all Souls game, and the series is called Souls not "Soulsborne", there's literally only one Bloodborne. Don't tell on yourself by debating this.

Bloodborne. I'll admit it's a totally biased, unmeasured, and nonsense opinion, but I'd still choose it everytime. I like the aesthetic.

I want to live there and kill everything. Savagely. Then just go around as a giant werewolf and snap and chomp on giant hunks of flesh and bone with cold black blood squirting everywhere from my mouth as I do it in the moonlight.

Then for no reason at all, I'll climb to the top of some spire with a bright lunar backdrop, howl and beat my chest.

Then of course some asshole named MelinaIsBestGirl with a balloon clown face appears and kills me with his kitaner.

What do you mean? Chalice Dungeons and Blood gem farming was fun. Why would you not want that? I did chalice dungeons for 100 hours after I was done platinuming the game.

Bloodborne is my personal favorite game as an overall package but it has some flaws.

Sekiro has a super fun and satisfying yet punishing combat system that surpasses the other games.

Dark Souls is a modern classic and an achievement in level design (the first 2/3s at least).

Voted Bloodborne, havent played Demons Souls or Elden Ring

I haven't played the OG Demon's Souls, or Bloodborne or Sekiro...

Dark Souls 2 is my favourite of them because I think the multiplayer worked the best... I mean, it wasn't FAIR by any means, but it actually worked! I have NEVER been able to get DS1's multiplayer to work, and while it worked in DS3 it wasn't as fun for some reason.

As for the singular playular parts of the game... I think while I adore DS1's Undead Burg, I like DS2 more as a whole package.

Ds2 is the most fun to me. Elden ring might be better. Not sure yet. The only one I don't like that I played is bb

Elden Ring>DS3>Bloodborne>DS2>DS>Demon's souls (haven't played the remake)>Sekiro

For me.

I replayed DS3 more than Bloodborne so I have to put it above, but I really like bloodborne as well (only replayed it twice though).

Was able to make more ....builds....with Ds3 is why.

Ds1 and demon's souls have clunky controls which lowers them for me, the remake of demon's is probably higher on the list but Ihave not played it due to no ps5 *sigh*

Oof, that's... hmm... I haven't yet played Demon's Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring; I even own two of them but I just haven't been able to really set aside the time for them.
.
Maybe... 2 > Sekiro > 1 > 3?

2 does have some obvious issues, but I liked the world a lot more in 2 as well as a lot of the additions it made to the series.

Sekiro I really enjoyed, but it was a bit too rigid with what you could do. I also got stuck? Like... I knew there was a path where I was but I couldn't find it, so my run just sort of... limply ended because I wanted to play other games and I was sick of wasting time looking for a path. I should pick it up again some time since I was enjoying it. Oh well.

1 has a lot of great things going for it but it's also blatantly incomplete in many areas (I CANNOT believe they did not take the time to fix the game up when they remastered it, jfc...) and often annoying to trek through in a lot of spots.

3 was... my issue with 3 was also sort of the narrative core of 3, which was the retreading of things that had already been covered in the series, and unfortunately it just resulted in me being completely uninterested in the game as a result. There was some cool stuff in there, don't get me wrong, but the incessant feeling of retreading ground just made me not want to turn the game on at all. I did complete it, but it weirdly felt like I'd wasted my time playing it. Was odd. It's sort of like... ah, you know the laughing scene from FFX? Yes, I get the intent of the scene. No, that does not mean that I like it more. Get it? Not a bad game, just not for me, I think.

.

All this said, I wouldn't be surprised if I would like Bloodborne and Elden Ring the most once I've played them. I just haven't found both the time and energy to devote to any of the ones I haven't yet played.

they all have their pros and cons. I don't even know if I could rank them.

DS1: almost artistically perfect; loses points for weaker areas near the end

DS2: tries too hard to be hard; gameplay feels off compared to other games; most variety in character development, areas, and loot, which makes it funner overall

DS3: well polished areas and mechanics; feels more limited in character development; the "story" also feels incomplete to me, despite the game being otherwise pretty polished; they clearly wanted to do more with it but didn't; mechanically the best of the three but somehow the least fun

all three of these have some of their best content in DLCs

Sekiro: fantastic but way too short; reuses some bosses which is a bit annoying

Elden Ring: amazing in ways but way too long; makes it a lot harder to assess; reuses a lot of bosses which is a bit annoying, but there's soooo many so who cares; feels a bit too much like DS3

It was the only thing left to do. I beat the old hunters dlc. I didn't like pvp much. Just farmed everything I could and got all the rarest cursed gems too.
