I was like "But you know just fyi you're gonna get a lightsaber later."

and she was all "I don't care I'm not gonna use it, gonna use blasters."

Just trying to prepare myself cause I'm the one who is actually gonna be playing the combat lol

Ive done a blasters run once. It only gets a little tough because your armor restricts certain force powers. I don't think I was able to beat the last boss without a Saber, though. Been a while.

Blaster build is fun. Of course, I was on like my 6th play-through by that point.

I kind of preferred the blaster now that I have a lightsaber lol

I will probably end up changing the difficulty to easy. I've only played through kotor twice I think so I'm not exactly an expert on it. But I respect that she wants to do something different so I'm gonna roll with it.

The games are really easy why do you need to do the combat?

I never could get myself to do anything other than lightsabers though.

just get rapid shot and force speed and you'll be fine

Cause I was explaining how to do the combat to her and she said "Lol as if I'm gonna do the combat"

She's just in it for the conversations and character stuff.

I can't remember if it was as effective in KOTOR 1 but Blaster Jedi was nuts in KOTOR 2.

Yeah this lol. Double blasters could just shred enemies.

We're doing double blasters in this run so I'll see how it goes.

I never did blasters in KotOR 1, but I did dual blasters in the second game once. It was actually pretty fun and a nice change.

Blasters in 1 is still pretty great. Go scoundrel at start for sneak attack, spec lightside into mass stasis.

Your attacks that hit during stasis have the sneak attack modifier applied to them and pretty much everything dies after a single rapid shot.

Blasters are totally viable. Just put a sword on Carth during the early game so you have a melee meatshield in your party.
