Slips do go both ways. For some players, making mistakes is inherently more town than scum because their scumgame would be far more cognizant of making such mistakes. I know of at least one game where a player was instantly (and correctly) towncleared by getting the gender of their flavor character incorrect, which would be something they would have never allowed to happen as scum. Some players in that spot would be instantly executed for such a thing because they would've been taken as lazily and incorrectly fakeclaiming. Long ago town lost a game because someone referred to the scumteam as "we" and got autolynched solely for that fact. I feel like I play the game best when there's votes on the table so I guess I'll be the one to break the ice. I'm gonna vote Sultan here because it seems like currently his interest in this game is more aimed towards figuring out what this whole message ordeal is as opposed to finding scum, which isn't the mindset I'd expect from a townie, especially given that the message could be from a town role. At the end of the day, I find his fixation on the whole message thing a bit performative. Also, I think that this: `TheSultanOfSlam posted...` `Also Ben's Vanilla claim out of the gates screams bad to me but Ben is a smarter player then to be scum who claims vanilla out the gate right?` was an attempt to throw shade towards Ben, and to me I really feel like he doesn't care/believe what he's pushing. This post feels very hedgy to me and I don't feel it was made in good faith, and it feels like he's having others do his scumhunting for him.
