Noelle is literally as strong as a five-star main DPS. The fact that she's always still at the bottom of all the tier lists is kind of funny.

Although as a side note, nobody seems to realize you can run Yun Jin as a main DPS and she's actually not bad.

how decked out does noell need to be to be "as strong as 5*" status? i farmed for 2 months and barely got albedo to a point where his flower ticks do 10k

She needs to be C6.

She has a few good options for artifacts but husk is BiS.

Her weapon is the easiest part--Whiteblind is perfectly fine for anything, although redhorn will make her even more OP.

You need a good geo team and battery to support her, though.

A lot of C6 4s are as good or better than C0 5s actually.

Noelle is just particularly easy to gear for with a really strong billet weapon available to her and prefers Def artifacts which have a higher probability.

To be fair, I spent a long time testing it out and for sure Serpent Spine is better than Whiteblind. Not by a huge amount, but it is at any refinement better than R5 whiteblind.

Husk is her best set, although Gladiator's and Bolide are very close. The biggest difference is that gladiators is hard and expensive to farm, while Bolide drops in a low-value Domain (nobody uses Archaic Petra except Ningguang, and even in her case Shimenawa's is better). Husk is BiS for Albedo, Itto, Gorou, Yun Jin and Noelle, and the other set that drops there (Clam) is best in slot for every healer except Jean and Bennett.

I mean this is true, but if you really think about it, the only really viable 4-star Main DPS characters in the endgame are Noelle, Yanfei and Ningguang. And Noelle scales much higher than they do.

Well people have have main DPS Beidou and Bennett work. Bennett in particular if the stars align will outdps Hu Tao.

I guess that's true, but I wouldn't necessarily call Main DPS Beidou "meta" but you can make her work.

Also I forgot Superconduct Physical Kaeya because he has inexplicably high normal attack multipliers.

On a side note, if dendro has a damage reaction with anemo, I can't even imagine what that'd do for Xiao. Dude has absolutely crazy damage that is only kept in check by the fact that he doesn't cause reactions.

He's basically AOE Hu Tao held back by the fact that he can't vaporize

I've got her C6 and a weapon. My zong is passable, and my albedo is alright but not great. I don't have a good 4th geo yet. But my main concern is artifacts since basically none of my characters have anything super good >.> after months and months of farming

Not bothering with Aloy unless she gets some decent constellations. And at this point I doubt that will ever happen lol.

You don't need "super good" artifacts on anyone except your main DPS. And even then you can make do with less than super if it's Noelle. As long as she has a level 90 Whiteblind, upgraded talents, and experience level close to 90, then you're fine with a set that has mediocre substats.

And remember if 4 piece husk is hard to get, you have a lot of options. 4 piece gladiator or 4 piece bolide are also good. Or you can mix and match two each from husk, gladiator, Shimenawa, and the one that boosts geo damage. Just use whatever has the best stats from those options.

Oh and you don't need all four to be geo. Just one or two besides Noelle so you can get the geo resonance. I mean if you do add Gorou to that it will make a very strong team, but as long as you can take care of her energy generation you don't need more than one geo character besides Noelle.

Finally managed to burst the Shogun down before she transformed. I still stand by my opinion that Yae is very strong despite bringing no utility. Almost 30k E procs with VV at skill lv.10

Yae's totem system is her biggest problem - not the damage or anything else. The totems are just not conducive when fights move all over the place. At least Albedo's flower is quick to cast and has a huge range.

You have to work her into your rotation. With her in my Raiden team I start with Raiden Skill into Yae totems into Kazuha skill/burst swap to Bennett burst then Yae burst into Raiden burst.

After Raidens burst reapply Yae totems then rinse and repeat. It takes three seconds to put out her totems and you shouldn't use her totems burst and then reapply totems that's just a waste of time and potential buff/debuff damage they can accumulate.

Don't get me wrong, I have her at C2 and I think she's totally viable, but I don't think stuff like this current battle event does her any favors. I used her with kazuha and she's pretty good, but A lot depends on being too crowd control characters into her totems. Against bosses, especially mobile ones, it's pretty frustrating.

On a side note, I can't believe I'm one of the lucky few who gets to use the C6 Raiden / C6 Eula duet in this battle event. Combined with the buff that reduces elemental burst cooldown, you essentially can just swap back and forth between bursts over and over and completely obliterate everything.

Not sure I'm understanding where you're coming from with that. Only boss she wouldn't be good against is Wolflord, most characters hate that boss tbh, or anything immune to electro obviously. Her AoE isn't great unless you group things up but her burst damage is up there with C2 Raiden's initial slash.

Is wolflord too high for her turrets? Theyre orbital cannons that seem to ignore elevation in my experience.

I could be wrong, but I honestly think this game doesn't have vertical limits for stationary buffs and turrets. Bennett's Ult can be set at the bottom of dragon spine and still buff you at the very top.

So far, I've managed to get over 5,000 points (Platinum 3-Star) on all of the battle events. Tomorrow is the last one, but it looks like it's all bosses.

Raiden/Eula special.

I can't get over how good Xiao is in this event. It's actually kind of crazy.

I'm pretty excited that the Monstadt folks are coming to Inazuma. They're the best bunch imo. Albedo is low-key hilarious in how he manipulates Kaeya and Diluc.

I keep wondering if MiHoYo actually intended Noelle to wind up as strong as she currently is.

Granted, it requires as rather large amount of investment in gear, constellations (C6) and team support, but she straight-up out-DPSes Diluc and Klee under most situations and gets surprisingly close to Itto, Xiao and Eula in damage over time.

Don't worry. Anything that pierces DEF will kill her. If there are any.

I honestly don't like that kind of character. Too high of a ceiling, but too low of a floor. The effort one could pour to Noelle can be used to fund nearly every other character. And she still can be stopped by a wooden shield.

She doesn't just have high DEF. She also has a shield. And heals. She's basically unkillable.

Probably did considering Itto and the recent huge buff to geo that came together with him and Yunjin.
That and being so selfish is a notable disadvantage for Noelle, you build the whole team into improving her and she needs field time to do anything.

So how does a team of Ayaka/Shenhe/Kokomi/Raiden sounds?

I have noticed superconduct does not break the freeze status so Ayaka can use the superconduct to hit hard
