Why would you blame the employer and not themselves? If they're that unhappy then they can work and better themselves to get a better job. It's hard but it's within the realm of possibility but people rather bitch and moan than actually attempting to better themselves. _

It's literally the same logic with those incel topics you see here constantly, everyone tells them if they want to attract a mate then the first crucial thing they must do is to better themselves. And it makes sense, why should anyone accept someone who won't even try to get better as a person. If you can't do that even for your own self then you deserve to be unhappy. It's as simple as that.

Motherfuckers won't try to resolve their unhappiness but will quickly point the finger and blame everyone else for their failures and saying that everyone else is the problem... please make it make sense to me. _

It could be 99% and people that literally hate their jobs would be blaming workers for hating their jobs. It already happens.

Yup. I had a job that involved being in an office and it made me physically ill to be there. The lights, the noise (of people, of the printer, of phones going off constantly), and just being trapped there.

I started working from home and my productivity shot through the roof. I'm also fortunate that my job doesn't micromanage the remote work; I had an offer from a place that was going to constantly monitor me through a webcam and I wouldn't have been allowed to even drink water or get up for the entirety of my eight hour shift.

You're supposed to blame yourself according to all those self help books. If you're just gonna blame the employer you're accepting that it will always suck instead of doing something to make your job suck less.

They're unhappy their not making enough to paybback their loans for the degree, but mostly because their employer wont pay them what their worth. But its both.

Newsflash: next to no one really loves their job. At least I don't think anyone wouldn't rather be doing something else. Some of us are lucky to get something we don't mind doing, but even then, I think a lot of current unhappiness is just a culture that hates giving up free time for anything or anyone, which leads to poor work attitude and results, which leads to upset bosses and customers that get angry after a while, ending in misery that could be avoided, or at least minimized by coming in to give a rats ass.

Right. Part of stop letting them be pieces of shit includes taking them out if they start getting violent with no repercussions on the employees end, and the courts dismissing their cases ;)

My understanding is unless they leave willingly or via police escort, security services usually can only get involved to immediately protect someone under attack.

So idk how you're going to take them out if they don't want to leave.

These kind of numbers are meaningless without a point of comparison. "People don't like to work" isn't even a controversial statement, but if you say "70% of Americans don't like their job" suddenly in it's an indictment of something?

I'm also kind of confused where these numbers came from given that the world economic forum puts job satisfaction in the US at close to 80%:

One key thing is the study you are showing is from 2019. Now idea where the data in the OP is pulled from, but if it is recent since COVID, it could explain a lot.
