SERIOUSLY MAJOR SPOILERS

All I heard about the finale was that it was terrible and that "Dexter is the first show with 2 horrible finales", but watching it I was happy with it. Dexter's bullshit finally caught up with him and he finally had to face how he was horrible and to blame for all his shit.

Like, unless you watch Dexter and think Dexter is "the hero" I can't see why you wouldn't like how it ended.

Dexter in previous seasons was a pretty poorly written show, with dangling threads and contrivances all over the place, this one had some dumb moments, but not nearly as many, and Dexter being a selfish evil dumbass finally caught up with him.

Also Harrison shooting him was super perfect, in his death Dexter got his wish: That his son would be a killer of evil people, just like Dexter was at his best.
