Maybe they do. I haven't really experienced a lot of people saying "I'm not afraid of anyone." Sounds like an unnecessary thing to say unless being threatened. That said, there's a difference between foolish and bravery. Standing your ground no matter what isn't always the best idea, even if there's little to be gained by doing so. In fact, there might be A LOT to lose by doing so. There is value in running away as long as the decision is strategic. When Napolean invaded Russia, the Russian army did not stand its ground and fight. They strategically retreated. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_invasion_of_Russia#Crossing_the_Russian_border Whether it was fear or a brilliant plan is irrelevant. If it was fear, it was a healthy fear knowing that a direct confrontation with the French would have disastrous results. If someone wants to beat you up and you know you can't win, standing your ground may not be the best way to approach it. Give yourself breathing room where you can beat him/her on your terms. Not theres. --- I need a bit of help lads with some rushes ya know like helix rush n tech spam, do you lot know anymore?/v316/samuraifaith/mad.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

I have what I'd call a healthy dose of fear. It's my job to make murderers twice my size follow petty ass rules. Depending on the circumstances I might back down and wait for some back up or just write em up and call it a day. Ain't about to get my ass beat over something like the dress code. Now they doing something violent or dangerous yeah I ain't backing down. I don't even hesitate at that point. It's a weird feeling. I've always been one to avoid fights (not run but if I'm not involved I'm not involved) but now I run to fights that ain't got shit to do with me without a second thought I'm a actually permitted to use force simply if they say no to a order of mine. I ain't gonna do all that unless it's serious enough. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" Bartz-"with cheese biscuts AND mashed potatoes!" ... Copied to Clipboard!
