I actually liked BFA, Im a casual and mostly just play solo and I thought visions were a lot of fun as a DH. Plus I never have any of the complaints other people do about the terrain since I can just jump off everything

But we got too many nerfs going into SL.

I only ever played WoD. It didn't really seem great.

It's just a short, unsatisfying ending that answered almost no questions and provided almost no pleasant feelings. The robotic body of the Jailer is literally the most interesting part of his entire character, no fake.

I'm sure Blizzard will release a "Warcraft: Zovaal" novel in 2025 which will fill in all the important details they didn't bother putting into the actual game.

Shadowlands might have the worst story of any mainstream video game I have ever played. Like I think I could have written a better story in the 4th grade.

Denathrius was pretty dope, but he was basically irrelevant.

bruh, as far as bad endings go this is tied with N'zoth beam struggle. WoD is a masterpiece compared to the last two expansions.

I love how there could be a god killing being that has consumed countless realms of existence, the most powerful being of all of fiction.

Then once it dies it turns out there was this previously unmentioned asshole who's 1000x times stronger that only now decides to step out of the shadows.

It gets to a point where you start to wonder how many world/universe-ending threats can happen in quick succession.

GoT's ending wasn't the issue, it was how rushed it was, with very little build up and time to develop the new events, as well as giving interesting characters little to no screen time or dialogue.

BFA's and Shadowlands' endings could not be delivered in a satisfactory manner regardless of build up, exposition, time or whatever else you want. Old God Kamehameha and Iron Giant Being Good All Along are irredeemable.

You know, it's funny because wow already had a baked in mechanism to avoid all of this insane power creep given that we as the player character were far too weak to beat the big bad ourselves for like five expansions in a row. It used to be a point of criticism because it didn't feel good having story characters constantly delivering the finishing blow, but it did a decent job of keeping the power scaling relatively mild. If they took their time and didn't try writing each expansion like a new arc of dbz they probably wouldn't be forced to rely on universe rewriting villains for a threat.

Not familiar enough with WoW to comment specifically about this, but yeah it's dumb when they get to give some redeeming factor to someone after the fact.

Hopefully Microsoft will just cancel it and make Warcraft 4
