Unfortunately, some people are just horrific dog owners and they need their animals taken away from them.

I didn't. The dog attacked us. He nearly ripped the Dalmatian's leg off and before that he was coming for my dog. If that Dalmatian hadn't been at the mailbox then my dog would be dead.

Looked like this. Dog was huge and stood about 6ft tall on his back legs. Google says it was probably a pitbull-lab mix.

Opened my door to go pick up my dad from physical therapy and the thing is just standing there. It heard my puppy barking in the house and must have come around to investigate. I'm standing there kind of speechless when my neighbor across the street comes home from work. He gets out with his dalmatian to check the mail and this pitbull runs down my yard and starts fighting with the dalmatian. The pitball grabbed the dalmatian's leg and just clapped down on it as the dalmatian desperately tried to get away. The owner of the dalmation jumped on top on them and beat the pitbull off. Then the pitbull ran pick up to me like, "hey, you want to play?" I was pretty sure he belonged to the next door neighbor's so I was trying to herd him home when he jumped up and grabbed my hat (that's how tall he was.) Thankfully he didn't try to eat my face. So I'm herding him home when he goes after two boxers behind a chain link fence. At this point I was like, "fuck it. I'm out."

I guess you could say I did not rise to the occasion. I didn't help wrestle the dog's apart and I just left the monster to roam the neighborhood. But I didn't get bit.

I was just at the dog park today and this vicious Pomeranian bit off my pinkie finger! I was lucky enough that a trained zoo keeper was nearby with his trusty tranquilizer gun and he managed to drop the vicious monster so I could get my pinkie back and reconnect it.

I lost a lot of blood. Before I left the dog stood up, winked at me, and said "Tonight. You."

I was scared shirtless. It tore off my shirt!

Now is the time to act, though. Be a hero, and recognize that these dogs are MONSTERS. Write a long ass paragraph in CONDEMNATION of these wild beasts, because, as we know, we should believe everything we read on the internet without any sort of proof.

I'm one the biggest defenders here. But I also think it's bad to be blind to the fact that people who aren't passionate or well-meaning about their dogs gravitate towards pitbulls. When it's the most popular thing to do, it's gonna attract really shitty people. Regardless of what it is. Sadly, in this case, it's a living breathing thing that is influenced directly by it's surroundings and capable of hurting people when poorly influenced. The goal for me is to bring down harsher punishment on bad owners. People who overall focus on the dogs are idiots who just give the real problem (the owner) an easier out tho. I think it's easier on them mentally too. Takes way less thinking to just do away with something they never had an attachment to in the first place. They don't care who loses in the process, cause it's not them.

Seems like the dog took a liking to you. You could have leashed it to gain control and went door to door. Or to the neighbors house you think it belongs to. But i understand why you wouldnt want to.

My other neighbor took video of it running away, but me and my house are in it. So even if he posts it to Facebook Im not posting it here. Theres other pics on Facebook of it running around a couple of weeks ago.

I like how CE is like "this happened" with any story anyone tells but then you throw out bulls in the mix and no one questions it.
