They'd have to go through a few more countries and even then, their supply chains are struggling with Ukraine. They won't be able to deploy forces all the way over to France. I could see Ukraine falling apart quickly without him as a figurehead. He can say they tried to liberate their brothers in Ukraine from the Nazi government but, as always, the West conspired against them. He suffers no great internal loss of support unless people do decide to revolt.
