The base game and one DLC (Director's Cut) are in the current Humble Choice, and I've got the option of re-subbing for $8 (CAD). If I'm likely to want all the DLC, though, it's almost as expensive to buy both season passes individually as it would be to buy the Ultimate Edition outright (the lowest sale prices to date are $51 for the bundle, $22 for SP1 and $26 for SP2), so I might not end up coming out on top there. The general consensus seems to be that BL3's DLC is largely missable and hideously overpriced, though, so if skipping it is the better option, it's a great deal.

In practice, Everhood is also in there and $8 is a great price for that alone, so I'll probably go for it regardless, but I like opinions.

The actual dlcs are really good the designers directors cut whatever is dumb bullshit with new skill trees locked behind it. The story dlcs that came out as the season pass are really good. The Handsome Jackpot, Love and tentacles, I forgot the western ones name and the Kreig FusterCluck are all great. I think the small bit of story stuff in the director cut is about that really annoying kid who ruined the base game. It also includes a pve battle royale type of mode that isn't very good.

I thought they were all boring and unfun, lost all desire to play the Krieg one and then they announced a second season pass which pisses me the hell off considering they locked things behind it any other game would give for free. it doesn't help they revised the endgame mechanics like 5 times too.

Nah the revisions kept it going for me. I had maxed out everything and was having no trouble with the mayhem set to 10. The second season pass which is just the designers cut as far as I'm aware is totally not worth it. I'm not gonna say you missed out because if you didn't enjoy it you didn't enjoy it but the Kreig dlc was probably the best.

So... SP1, maybe, SP2, no? Especially where the Director's Cut is already included in this bundle and that's like half of SP2 (though I think the extra skill tree is what interests me the most of what's in it, so it's not the half I might actually want). I can always pick up the Designer's Cut individually later if I feel like it, though my impressions of BL3 are that it won't hold my attention (and wallet) like BL2 did. In that case, I think grabbing the base game for $8 instead of waiting for a better overall deal on the Ultimate Edition is going to be my best bet.

Humble's also offering both DLC's bundled for $20 (USD, so I guess like $26 CAD) for Choice subscribers, which is an excellent price, but that offer ends March 1 and I probably won't even have played the game by then, let alone played it enough to know whether or not I want more.
