I was curious about this game from its initial trailer but holy shit the gameplay is so fun and satisfying. Definitely worth a look if you have time to check it out.

Have you played Severed Steel? Your enjoyment of this makes me think you might enjoy it.

I played the demo for that one but haven't gotten around to the full game just yet. I definitely enjoyed it, though! Felt a little more "raw" than this does, but there's so much room for style and mastery there that I'm definitely excited to get around to it.

Neon White has long been on my wishlist, but now I think that I will be adding Severed Steel

this indirectly made me aware of steam next fest happening again so i guess this can be a next fest topic now

very keen to check out neon white now but it's probably not forgiving on my laptop of feeble specs, so i've picked up 45 other, smaller games instead (and am still downloading most of them)

have so far tried out Before The Night, a cute(?) 2d horror action puzzle game from Uneducated Game Studio (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jd9VgRxzMtc), and Beyond the Long Night, a surprisingly charming twin stick roguelike from Noisy Head Games (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykbqfbc174E)

was surprisingly bad at both (i should probably buy a new mouse soon, and maybe a separate keyboard, given that both requiring use of wasd, other keys and mouse controls was... not ideal for me, who could not do 2 of those things at the same time). that said, i also liked both quite a lot, especially beyond the long night. also just want to mention i really like beyond the long night's title screen too. really indicative of the amount of love going into that one i feel.

tried neon white at a friend's place

dialogue is hit or miss (almost entirely miss) but game's good

also had some fun with boundary (astronaut 5v5 hero shooter)
