Is Zexi Hot?

21 y/o Zexi Li was the Ontario woman responsible for getting the ball rolling to get the Truck Convoy in Ottawa to stop honking their horns 24/7 after 3 weeks which then got the government involved to finally put an end to the disruptive noisy protesters!!

She said she simply had enough of the people honking their horns all day as it gave her a constant headache and unable to concentrate while working from home and filed a lawsuit and injunction against the protesters from honking all day.

She said "I really really felt that no matter what, i had to do something. If that something is to be a voice and be a face and even be a target for people to understand what really is going on here, i was more than willing to do so"

A judge granted a 10 day injunction ordering an end to the incessant honking by truckers parked downtown and anyone violating the order will get stiff penalties than regular bylaw charges

She said in the past week while out in public, a man in a pickup truck BACKED UP on the sidewalk and almost hit her after she revealed herself to suing the convoy.

Zexi said she is thankful the government is finally stepping up to deal with them because they feel trapped in their city and threatened by the people who don't support their cause and said they were doing whatever it takes to make their lives a living hell while breaking the law..

It was so bad to the point that she couldn't sleep or think and everyone was getting fed up. Zexi also said they threatened people who even wear masks and it became a us vs them in the city and hopes that police will weed these people out because the narrative of their "peaceful protest" was not true if you actually live in this city and know what it's really like.

She worries however on what their next goal is and says something needs to be done to stop their illegal activities from future protests or even violence if they don't get their way

Is Zexi Hot?

Considering all protests create a lot of noise, I'm wondering why this tactic isn't applied more often to stifle political speech. I guess it might be more a selective use of the tactic.

Disrupting the normal function of a city and attacking the residents for literally no reason is apparently political speech

Any widescale protest disrupts "the normal function of a city" and there are always incidents of threats and violence. Or do you think businesses were boarding up windows in the US for decoration when protests were going on? And people put in the hospital were just going there for kicks?

So you just support rioting, regardless of the cause?

Considering all protests create a lot of noise

All protests create noise. Very few protests create a constant drone of truck horns (which, as you may or may not be aware, are a little bit louder than the average human voice) that is sustained 24/7 for the express purpose of torturing innocent citizens to the point that the government feels compelled to give in to the demands of an unambiguous terrorist threat (that is, "give us the political change we want or we'll keep torturing your citizens"). That's got to be one of the falsest equivalencies I've ever seen.

It does, but that's simply by virtue of it being a buttload of extra traffic. It's usually possible to work around it and it's generally pretty temporary. This, by comparison, is a matter of deliberately occupying and barricading the space in question to render it mostly unusable until demands are met. It's more akin to CHAZ than to any normal, reasonable approach to protesting.

and there are always incidents of threats and violence.

There really aren't. The vast majority of peaceful protests are in fact completely peaceful, with the worst issues being some shouted profanity. That "97% of BLM protests were peaceful" figure means that 97% of BLM protests had no threats or violence at all, as much as people like you seem to believe every one of them was just looking to burn down the city. Violence is the exception, not the norm. On top of that, I'm getting the definite impression that the scale of violence seen here is well in excess of what would be considered "normal" for a protest with so few people (though I welcome any actual data you may have that suggests otherwise, since that's not a very rigorous impression).

It's more that he has an insatiable addiction to whataboutism. He just seizes on what he sees as an opportunity to paint this protest's critics as hypocrites so he can discredit them without having to directly say that he supports it, since he knows that's an unpopular opinion and he likes to keep the "I never said I support this" deflection in his back pocket.
