Anyone actually play this game? Just curious because it looks like a Tales of type game and I played Shining Force waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day. It looks like a thoroughly mediocre jRPG but the price is about right for something like it.

If I'm thinking of the right game, there's a pretty long demo for this game that I played several years ago.

It was, uh....not good.

There's a threshold for jRPS on PSN/XBL in my experience: they can be great all the way down to $8, stuff like Berseria and and Hack//GU hits this price fairly regularly. Once you hit $6 though, you're getting your Valkyria Revolutions and Fairy Fencer Fs.

Yeah it's pretty budget. I mean the character models are cool and the battle system is kinda fun but it's nothing special. Plus for some reason there is only 1 town in the game and you have to walk all the way back through areas to get to new ones.

I played a few hours of it and it definitely felt like a Tales game in spirit but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try again someday.

I have it because bundle but I never felt that compelled to play it.
