It is, thank the lord. I bought BF2042 just to play with my roommate and have to play on min settings with a fan pointed at my pc. I even got a new CPU too so I was kinda bumming. Appreciate the input.

The 1070 is still a relatively strong video card, and is better than the 1660, Ti, Super, etc. This is the Steam survey for last month.

It's a GPU from AMD's brand where as the 1070 is Nvidia's GPU line. Both are ancient though.

they do these benchmarks at 4k or maybe 1440p 60+fps with lots of settings on. they dont have the ability to test every bit of hardware on the market, so even if you fall below minimum for say a CPU you can likely overclock and be perfectly fine. worst case you just refund the game if it runs bad.
