If you live in a city that's one thing, you can always find something to do. But if you don't you have to spend multiple months yearly cooped up in the house, not being able to go on a walk or do 90% of your favorite activities. By the time you die you will have wasted multiple years of your life because of cold weather.

Very depressing to think about

You can always find stuff to do, but you have to make it happen.

Indoors - movies, game nights with friends, bars, karaoke, trivia

Outdoor - winter hiking, skiing (downhill or cross country)

Or you could just buy a jacket and a scarf

I mean, that's no different than hot weather, specifically humid hot weather. I don't want anything to do with anything in that shit, except staying indoors with air conditioning.

I liked going out in the middle of winter in MN way more than I like going out in the middle of summer in GA, Ill tell you that much.

I agree and I was pretty much thinking the same thing a when I read this post. It snows and then ice forms and its dangerous to go out, even to the mailbox or something. Its dangerous to drive. It really makes me feel like Im wasting time because of the days when youve completely prepared and all you can do is just sit there. The worst is when it lasts from November through May.

Then it creates this thing where everyone in town tries to do their shopping before it snows, so they wont have to go out in the snow, but it basically forces everyone into the store at the same time and then everything is bought up.

the cold is only a problem if you're not prepared for it. bundle up and go outside!

i play ~2 hour rounds of disc golf when the temps get down to the low 20s and it's not a problem because i stack layers and stay warm.
