Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who recently tested positive for COVID-19 says he will NOT be meeting with the Freedom Convoy and overturning a law mandating truckers be vaccinated to cross the border because he refuses to talk with people with "hateful rhetoric" as hundreds of truckers and supporters flocked to the southern tip of Alberta's borders to block off traffic

He said he would rather attend a BLM RALLY than to talk to the people and said "Over the past few days, Canadians were shocked and frankly disgusted by the behaviour displayed by some people protesting in our nation's capitol"

The 50 y/o is in isolation and in an undisclosed location

Trudeau says he has no interest in going anywhere near the protests that expressed hateful rhetoric and violence towards fellow citizens and said that he atteded protests and rallies in the past of which he agreed with those goals and the people that expressed their concerns and issues but chosen not to go anywhere near protests that have hateful rhetoric and to disrespect science and frontline healthworkers and thanked the 90% of truckers who have been doing the right thing to keep canadians safe to put food on their tables

The coalition of more than 50,000 truck truckers that have protested the mandate have been mostly peaceful with some violence including the defacing of Canada's Terry Fox Statue and KKK and Confederate flags being flown on trucks

Trudeau has remained steadfast on vaccines being mandatory much as Biden has mandated foreign travelers be vaccinated before they can enter the united states

Trudeau went on to slam conservative politicians that have supported the protests warning them to think long and hard on the people displaying this type of behaviour

Some hundreds of protesters removed to budge as Ottawa Mayor's Jim Watson is demanding a return to normal and for th people to leave as well as Alberta's Premier, Jason Kenney who demanded they get out of the way of the borders so vaccinated truckers can do their jobs

But the truckers say they intend to stay as their aim is to create chaos and logistics nightmares for trudeau's government so canadians can feel the wrath of a supply shortage if they don't have these men do their jobs

Donald Trump also rallied in support of the truckers calling Trudeau weak and horrific for mandating vaccines despite begging his conservative fanbase to do so

Swastika toting thieves. I wouldn't want to meet them either.

I don't think it's as simple as all that. I think people are grossly uneducated on a variety of topics that causes them to be easily swayed by misinformation in unpleasant times.

That said, it's hard to keep disdain in check for people who steal from services for the homeless because they failed to make food preparations beforehand.

Racism and any form of discrimination are disgusting.

I stand with the Freedom loving truckers. Keep up the good work and protest! Shut them down, make it hurt.

There is nothing racist about wanting to have a freedom of choice of what happens to your body, isn't that what the left always says when it comes to abortions? My body my choice? Or is that only when it comes to murdering a baby but not if you don't want a shot?

There is something racist about shouting racial slurs at anyone that isn't white and waving around swastikas, though. They're not racist because they don't want to get vaccinated, they're racist because they're being racist.

No idea why you wouldn't just talk to people on the points they make with you, their racism isn't relevant to their request. You don't treat a murderer that's done their time like they want to kill you.

When the entire protest has been organized and fundraised for by a party that can basically be called the Canadian Nazi Party, it's kind of hard to separate the two. It's also kind of hard to not think about Nazis when the person you're talking to is waving a swastika flag around.
