Yes No Have you ever worn just a shirt and pants outside extremely cold conditions? - Results (27 votes) Yes 33.33% (9 votes) 9 No 66.67% (18 votes) 18 20 y/o Tyler Lopresti-Castro from upstate New York FROZE to Death after he was found unconscious wearing just a SWEATSHIRT and JEANS outside a city BUS STOP when temperatures dropped to -14F(-25C)!! He was a junior studying professional accounting at SUNY Oneonta and was found lying outside the Oneonta Public Transit Central Garage when 2 transit employees found him unconscious at 6:50am He did not appear be dressed for the cold said Police Chief Christopher Witzenburg and he suffered from exposure to extreme cold Emergency Workers did everything possible to resuscitate him after taking him to Fox Memorial Hospital but he died upon arrival. They identified him after finding his ID in his backpack and wouldn't say if alcohol was a factor He was seen on surveillance footage emerging from a wooded area at around 2:15am and was about 3 and a half miles away from SUNY Oneonta as police believed he was walking to his resident off campus Witzenburg said "There's a drainage culvert there, we believe that he got very cold and wet from crossing the drainage culvert and some pretty deep snow" He was walking in very cold conditions as temperatures dropped significantly overnight and was last seen by other people at midnight with friends The semester had just begun the day prior and it was noted that it was rush week for SUNY Oneonta's Greek Organization though they don't believe it had anything to do with the fraternity The campus community is mourning the loss of one of their own as he was nicknamed T-Lo by his friends who is remembered for his goofiness and kindness..
