He's not left-leaning, he's in favor of the status quo and will use whatever weasel words he can to uphold it.

Cant blame the shortcomings of other politicians on Bernie forever

I cannot disagree more fervently with the idea that the public owes defence to politicians' future career prospects. If you can't take the heat, don't apply to be head chef.

The heat was unfounded though. There's valid criticism and then there is unproductive mudslinging. David Sirota (Bernie's guy) literally had 100s of tweets aimed at taking him down before he even announced he was running lol. Then when he announced he was running the issue was he didn't have proposals of all his policies online when he announced he was running like 8 months before the first primary. Truely a horrible person.

The real reason why that molehill became a mountain is because he stood as a threat to Lord Bernie so he had to be taken down, just like every other candidate not named Bernie.

Bernie bros played 0 role in Beto's demise.

Beto's presidential run relied on media fluff and centrist think tank money. Once both of those institutions decided Mayor Pete was the cooler empty vessel, Beto was cooked. Because then the type of people Beto appealed to dropped him like a hot potato for Pete.

Beto's implosion was 100% on him tho. Instead of living to fight another day, he lashed out for attention by using curse words on TV. When that didn't work he suddenly decided to become the most anti-gun politician as a last ditch effort. This impulsive behavior stemmed from his presidential run being motivated by vanity and he's a spoiled rich brat that couldn't handle rejection.

I too am thankfully nuts like Tulsi are gone.
