Doom_Art 01/27/22 5:00:34 PM #1:	Background: - Was seeing a girl I work with for a few months. - We barely see each other through the holidays. - We message on NYE back and forth. She asks what I'm doing and I respond. --- No reply and the messages weren't ever marked as read. - Over the next few days I send three followups being like "?" "Hey?" And "Are we good?", same deal. - I begin to think she's pissed I didn't invite her to NYE. - A few days later at work I asked her what was up and mention NYE. She seemed genuinely surprised I thought we weren't good and told me I was "overthinking" and that she wasn't checking messages and was "busy" with life. - I made some comment about how if she wanted a break from talking or w.e. she could've just said so and she kinda chuckled and said something like "that's too uncomplicated for me" Whenever we happen to work together things are civil and friendly. Almost like nothing ever happened, albeit she's not as physical/handsy as she was prior, obviously. We still haven't spoken outside of work since. I made no effort to reach out and neither has she. Anyway, I'm seeing other people rn but when she's around even though it's nice we're still friendly I feel like I'm still hurt/sore over what went down. This is why I don't think I would ever pursue a girl at work, I'm not lucky in love at all and if things go especially wrong - which they tend to do - I would probably have to leave my job as a way of getting away from what happened and healing from the experience. You seem like you're being proactive about your work situation, which is good. But I think it's probably a good policy going forward to keep your work life and love life seperate. Like imagine being so upset by a potential breakup that you have to find a new job. This scenario made you feel a bit weird, and you're taking steps to mitigate that weirdness. But imagine if the fallout was so nuclear you knew you couldn't stay at the company. I hope this works out for you TC. Like I said we were pretty good friends so we knew each other pretty well. She mentioned that we should move in together. I was going to move in with her. Everything was going great. The next week I got really sick. Strep throat. I told her I would stay home the next few days. We stayed in constant communication. Calling and texting. Once I was better she said she was making me dinner, homemade tacos. I go over and she says this isnt working. I am shocked, just 3 days earlier she wanted to move in. I could not get a real reason out of her. The next day at work I was still pretty mad so I stayed away. She confronts me and asks if I am just not going to talk to her anymore. I said I am not ready to. We eventually made it to where we could talk, repair our friendship as she put it. Then she tried to tell me that I could not date anyone that worked where we work. We worked at a restaurant/bar. She also said I could not date customers. The red flags were waving left and right. This new smoking hot bartender started working there and we started talking. This girl got so mad saying I was a piece of shit this and that. She was a nutcase. When I started dating my wife, she would call and text me and my wife. She would make really personal conversation to my wife saying things like "Kizzle likes that, but I know you know that dont you kizzles wife?" Just inserting herself into our lives showing that she had slept with me.
