Not unheard of though. Many MMOs will run the same numbers if you really did buy everything.

I've paid like $3k on a mobile game so more power to whoever does this as a hobby lol

Thats my HOA fee for an entire year! (Heat and hot water included)

I could see my dad buying something like this if he couldn't fly real planes anymore.

Although to be fair, he would probably only buy two or three planes, not all of them.

Oh, I have that game! I havent played it yet but it looks beautiful. Was not planning on buying anything on it, just let the other players support them.
