I had a duel that lasted over an hour. Even at max speed for the replay, it was over 4 1/2 minutes. True Draco vs my modolche. I got out Tiaramisu 4 or 5 times and it's only the very last time that they finally couldn't negate it, destroy it, or what have you. And by that point they had nothing left in their hand or field so they couldn't prevent me from bouncing the stuff on their field. So they forfeit.

Apparently when you have turns last long enough your timer for future turns is reduced. Nice way of keeping duels from lasting forever, now that I know how bad it can be.

Damn that's crazy. I guess you can have long duels still lol. Also, the dude shouldn't have forfeited cuz then he gets no rewards from your guys' long ass duel lol.

I faced a nub so instead of full comboing their ass and getting them to uninstall the game, I would summon only 1-2 monsters a turn and give them a false sense of back and forth <__<

Yeah I realized I shouldn't have forfeit duels after noticing they gave no points. D;

For short duels you will lose, you don't really lose out on much and you probably save more time forfeiting and requeueing instead of waiting for your opponent to finish you off.

Finally able to pull a consistent turn 1 Blackwing Full Armor Master. I can end on that and regular Armor master super easy now.

If I play it right. I can probably do both Full Armor Master and Baronne de Fleur on turn 1 when it comes out.

The cool thing is if they ash blossom the Black Whirlwind I get off of Simoon, I can still get a search off of my bonus normal summon(s) since ash only negates 1 search and is once per turn if they are holding 2/3.

It's great when people don't know about the floating effects of cards so at worst you lose the card but the effect was what you wanted anyways.

It depends. If Skill Drain is already up, FAM will be negated. If he's already on the field, he wont be drained.

It's free to play and you might need to put in like 6 hours tops to afford enough hidden packs to build a deck. Besides that uh... it's only as much a time sink as you make it.

Just had my first ranked duel with my incomplete sky striker deck and the opponent just kept Mirror Force turn 1. I built my board and was ready to negate their combos so they surrendered

It depends what deck really. Some are really UR intensive and some not so. Using the crafting system is the way to go.

The game gives you a lot of gems, crafting is the easiest way to build your deck

Crafting is by far the best design decision they made. It's super easy to obtain specific cards for your deck.

Yeah. Madolche isn't f2p friendly but plenty of other ones definitely are. Someone on the first page said an archetype that's really cheap even to gen everything yourself.

You can break down cards into 10 crafting points each, and you can make any card you want with 30 crafting points.

The points are divided by rarity though, but still break down 3 ultra rares you don't care about, and you can get the UR card you need for your deck easy.

Every card has a rarity. Normal, Rare, Super Rare and Ultra Rare. To craft a card you need 30 mats of said rarity. If you have a card that you don't/won't need, you can break it down into 10 mats of the rarity that that card is. So essentially, 3 trash cards you don't need = a card you do need.

OK, that's a great system

I will say this tho. Even tho the game gives a great burst of free stuff in the beginning, be super sure of what you want to build as your first deck, and maybe your second if they're not too material/luck intensive. It's easy to see that the game has diminishing returns for the mission rewards the longer you play it.

Yeah I think I'm gonna build Virtual worlds as my 2nd deck. Id spend all my UR gems on staples like the hand traps and pots.

OK, that's a great system

Probably the best one I've seen. Now Konami needs to take a page from the Pokemon TCG and put codes in booster packs and decks.

Yeah the potential of this game is unreal. Konami can easily make that komoney and with good faith without feeling too scammy too (besides the p2w gems which have awful return ratios). They just gotta put in some Duel Links-esque pve content, maybe make the PvP rewards a bit better (wtf at random normal 800 atk monsters as rewards), and maybe just in general improve the reward system so that diminishing returns aren't so bad. Seriously hoping they don't screw up because what they have initially is a bit unpolished but great.

I made an Unchained deck for shits n giggles because it was cheap to make and I'd feel like it's a bit trolly. Put 3 D Fissure, 3 Dark Holes, 3 Torrential. Ran into a weird Gouki warrior deck and I won pretty handily especially since I drew into DFissure after a couple turns. At one point he had a board of 4 monsters including Access code and Phoenix Gearfried to my one unchained lowbie and I just kept floating lol. Reminded me of the mystic tomato/giant rat days

Cyber dragons are fun against people who make the mistake of putting cards in the extra monster zone. A blackwing player put Full Armor Master in there extra card zone turn one then immediately left when I used it to fuse.

I'm building a Monarch deck with Vanity's/Majesty's Fiend also in it because I want to make my online opponents not get to play the game.

still haven't finished making my Thundra deck lol. I got sidetracked with the solo mode for a day or two.
but I did copy a list off of the public decklists and am making most of the necesary cards in that. the only thing I changed was replacing some staples I didn't have with others I had. the main problem is all the SR/UR extra deck monsters.

I made a Vampire deck and have been having fun with it in Solo mode, although I'm pretty sure once I go online, that might change a bit.

I fuckin' LOVE virtual worlds so far. I was playing against a ancient gear player and had an awful opening hand. I was able to come back with the True King of Calamities rank 9 dude.

I've been out of the game since 2015 admittedly and had no idea you could control 6 monsters if you synchro/Xyz/Link to the extra zone. I thought it was 5 monsters period. If you use the extra zone, you miss out on one of your zones. Was a huge surprise when I actually pulled off Virtual World City's 4+ ability.

Also, it's kinda crazy how unhinged this format is. I literally watched a PK player get Maxx C'd then just laughed it off as they summoned a 5 material Rhongo and the opponent with 12 cards in hand literally couldn't do anything so they just scooped

It annoys me to no end there are cards that can't be dismantled. Have 4 copies of a card and since it's one of the cards that can't be dismantled I'm stuck with it at 4. It's also an SR, so it's fairly valuable dismantle.
