I made a couple of topics a while back about a college girl that I've suspected of having a crush on me. Nowadays she's been way more overly excessive with the flirting, touching, and acting sexy that it's not even something I have to suspect anymore. And as someone whose been single for 5+ years now outside of some unremarkable dates that lead nowhere, I'm really close to cutting my losses and hooking up with her >_>

Part of me is afraid of what people will think of me dating a girl that's much younger than me. That, and she's associated with a few people in my work/social circle already, so I would have to hear their opinions about it too. Actually, they probably wouldn't care. They were always teasing about her liking me. In fact, my roommate has been telling me to fuck her from the start.

It's just we're at completely different stages in life. I've always hoped that by this point if I was in a serious relationship with someone, it would be with a person that's doing some of the same stuff I'm doing. When I think of her I just go, "Dammit. Why wasn't she around when I was 18!?"

How does that make it fake? Some girls can be pretty flirty like this if they like you enough, in my experience at least. The difference here is, they usually do stuff like that after we've been officially seeing each other for a while, which isn't the case with the girl in question.

That was why I made a point of the "excessiveness" of the flirting and touching in the OP. At first, it started with lots of touching to get my attention, hugging, grabbing on to me when I tell a stupid joke, whatever excuse she needed. I knew what she was doing but didn't pay it too much mind. Then she did that whole thing at the cafe and now, with no other real options as far as dating goes, I'm strongly considering picking up what she's laying down.

That's one of those things I'm worried about. It goes into what I was saying earlier about being in different stages of life and all of that. It can make things more complicated than it needs to be.
