It's crazy to me how the church kept so much power when it cycled through leaders like a revolving door. Dudes keeled over every 5 years.

There was a court case in Ancient Athens where a boy was killed by a javelin by accident and that javelin was put on a serious trial. Actually I recall there being a very earnest attitude towards putting objects on trail in Ancient Athens, I recall reading about it awhile back.
