Growing up so close to the line I have a solid understanding of c to f. Weather forecasts here are typically in both. Or they were till not long ago. Now they mostly just toss Fahrenheit in during tourist season.

I'm good on litres and gallons cause of milk and gas.

But cm vs inches etc... I really struggle picturing that.

If you can do the basic math of 5cm is about 2in, you're good forever.

I have a mental block with that p much.

I know it technically, but with temperature or speed its intuitive pretty much. Even with measurements im fine unless its small scale.

I'm so much more used to imperial for weight and height on a smaller scale that my brain needs to work to convert those to metric.

Essentially if I'm building a house or weighing or measuring a person I'm way more comfortable with the imperial system, but for everything else I'm better with metric.

I know that 40oz = 1.18L and 60oz = 1.75L

Anyone wanna take a guess as to how I learned that?

Grams is so much better in some cases even the stores can't resist it I guess. Lol.

But really that is the one thing to me that just stands put as the most glaring instance of American exceptionalism. Or the adversity to universal Healthcare. Not even the adversity itself but the arguments I see against it most of the time.

I always wondered why some team colors are so off. Rangers were red, white and blue, but Edmonton was like green and yellow and Minnesota was purple and white. Probably a licensing thing back then.

Some of the only good memories I have of my older brother was playing this game with him when we were little kids.

My childhood was largely defined my me and my dad playing Tecmo Bowl.
