The season starts out relatively good, but then isn't... the season revolving entirely around trying to repeal some law isn't as entertaining as the spite store last season.

I thought it was really good on the whole but curb usually wraps things up nicely - this was the worst wrap up of the series

I do like them showing that Larry is going senile. Explains his weird social rules that he's had the past 20 years, he was just a big bucket of crazy that's slowly deteriorating.

The House Husband bit was pretty entertaining. I wish it had gone on for a few episodes. Larry whoring himself out to Tracey Ullman got real gross though. I also don't care for all of the Jeff cheating on his wife plot lines

Agreed

the whole premise of the law being changed doesnt even make sense because it was the law when the event in question happened

the individual episodes were good but there was no big payoff at the end like there should have been

A bit surprised at the reactions here. I do agree, the overarching plot point about the fence law wasn't too clever or paid off well. However, I honestly believe, on an episode to episode basis, that this was the best season of Curb. I have never gut-laughed so many times at this show.

How mad were you guys that they made a joke about someone having sex with a 17 year old and also giving him a $400,000 payout?

The fence law plot was dumb (are we seriously supposed to believe a millionaire like Larry couldn't settle this issue in court) and the payoff wasn't good but the episodes were still overall hilarious. The klansman episode is a classic.

I was expecting for the law to have been repealed, Larry got rid of Maria Sophia, then still got sued because as you said - it WAS the law when the death happened. Like Larry looks like an idiot because it was all for naught.
Also I agree with previous poster that all the non-chalant Jeff cheating was gross

I mean, the premise of the entire show is that Larry Davis is cheap and petty

I was expecting Larry to end up marrying her for some reason.

I enjoyed how their generation eg larry and jeff were like "how dare he complain about getting to have sex with a hot 40 year old" or some shit that cracked me up.

I thought it was pretty good. Had some laughing out loud moments.

Finale was kind of lame though

I was a little disappointed there wasn't more seth rogen. I don't really like the characters he plays or his movies, but I do like it when he plays himself like in this is the end and thought he'd be perfect for curb's brand of comedy

This. I loved most of the episodes but didn't care for the ending.

I would have rather seen Maria Sofia and her father get tossed for real, OR Larry get totally fucked over.

The way it ended made it feel like theres another episode afterwards. Too much left up in the air.

Also I gotta say Igor, Gregor, and Timor was such a fun bit. Bill Hader is a treasure.

How the hell does Larry spend like $20,000 on that vase and not wrap it up, after what happened to the first one lol. Fucks sake man.
