But the tab targeting ones are always what sticks for me. Though I've played ffxiv more than any other mmo combined. I have been playing OSRS as a side game lately though. Got fire cape and barrows gloves recently. It's a nice distraction when. nexigrams 01/04/22 1:58:21 AM #27:	That's pretty cool! I'm a CE raider in wow, currently trying to make the switch to ffxiv because I am beyond tired of daily chores and blizzard's bs. Getting through the MSQ is perhaps the biggest chore of them all, though, lol. And the whole snapshotting raid mechanics thing is probably gonna take me way too long to figure out. Constantly taking damage from things 2 seconds after the animation disappears even though I'm halfway across the room by then. I just can never tell when I'm supposed to be out, in wow you just get out before the animation ends and you're good. I guess it's all just trial and error? Anyways, FFXIV is better in literally every way though, and the devs don't seem interested in keeping me running on a hamster wheel like Blizz do. I did find the amount of dailies annoying though. I've always been interested in the raid scene of WOW after getting into FFXIV so congrats on the CE that's pretty cool. Also for the vast majority if ffxiv mechanics they snapshot at castbar not animation. Because of this you can generally dodge them right as the cast bar ends then go back in and look like you're standing in the animation while not being hit. There are some mechanjca that don't have casters but those are not normally snapshot based mechanics. FFXIV is fun though. The initial MSQ grind is rough especially if you're not as invested in the story, but I enjoy the endgame and think it's worth it. I actually watch cutscenes outside of savage patches. (Those I'll watch on a alt.) But even I got tired of the grind. Leveling my alt for alt splits took a entire day just to finish EW and that was skipping everything. Generally speaking, as long as you move out of the orange before the cast finishes you are good, but certain mechs are delayed or will continue to do damage throughout the animation, rather than once the cast ends. <cite>OudeGeuze posted [p:961474832] in In 4 hours...
