| Key 01/04/22 2:05:59 AM #28: | I use to play wow. In fact while waiting for EW I leveled a couple classes in wow to try it out again. But I never stuck with it. I did find the amount of dailies annoying though. I've always been interested in the raid scene of WOW after getting into FFXIV so congrats on the CE that's pretty cool. Also for the vast majority if ffxiv mechanics they snapshot at castbar not animation. Because of this you can generally dodge them right as the cast bar ends then go back in and look like you're standing in the animation while not being hit. There are some mechanjca that don't have casters but those are not normally snapshot based mechanics. FFXIV is fun though. The initial MSQ grind is rough especially if you're not as invested in the story, but I enjoy the endgame and think it's worth it. I actually watch cutscenes outside of savage patches. (Those I'll watch on a alt.) But even I got tired of the grind. Leveling my alt for alt splits took a entire day just to finish EW and that was skipping everything.
