You guys are making terrible decisions.

Heart attacks can last a lot longer than people realize. They also don't actually always hurt, Hell you can have one without even knowing, but those ones very rarely kill. Tons of people actually confuse a heart attack with cardiac arrest but they're different. Although a heart attack can lead to cardiac arrest, this mostly does not happen. Dying form a heart attack alone can take 4 months of organ failure to kill you, sometimes a year.

A ruptured brain aneurysm is accompanied by the most agonizing acute migraine one can imagine. It is by no means a quick loss of consciousness and death unless the aneurysm is significantly large, in which case, it will most likely cause pain and distressing symptoms well before it ruptures. It can take 24 hours followed by vasospasm to kill you, but in other cases can take up to half a year for the complications to finally take your life.

Meanwhile, strokes happen suddenly but have a couple symptoms to go with them -- the one most commonly known is weakness on one side of the body, but aside from that, it does not actually really hurt. After the first minute of a stroke tens of thousands of braincells can die. It is capable of killing you swiftly without medical intervention, and even then a good number of people die within a month. It can take a year, but 1 in 8 are dead within 30 days.

To me, the choice seems obvious. Having a stroke is the least painful and it has the highest deaths in a year count (in the US). Ruptured aneurysms kill nearly 500,000 people a year, heart attacks 659,000 -- and strokes a whopping 140,000 people a year.
Dying is rarely quick and painless, but out of these options, I'd say the aneurysm is the most painful immediately, the heart attack causes the most prolonged suffering, and the stroke, while by no means pleasant, is far from being as agonizing as these other options.

Nothing like acute chest pain before heart failure slowly sets in and eventually meeting an inevitable demise after months of having fluid drained from your lungs and body because of how slow it takes a heart attack to kill you in the absence of cardiac arrest.

Actually, you know what, ey TC @pionear -- when you say heart attack, are you thinking of an actual heart attack only, or a heart attack followed by cardiac arrest, where you immediately lose consciousness and function, which is what will actually kill you quickly, and what people confuse heart attack with.

Gettin the bottom of this...
Because if what you actually meant was cardiac arrest then fuck I'm with that option all the way. Happens fast. Otherwise I'm opting for stroke.

My spouse suffered a thrombosis of the left anterior descending coronary artery, commonly known as a "widow-maker". If this artery becomes blocked, the blood supply to about half of the heart is disrupted. Depending on how bad the occlusion is, death can occur within as little as 10 minutes up to several hours and the prognosis is often very poor without immediate medical attention.

I found his body on the floor next to his chair.

Same. You'd probably feel really weird and spaced out, but it wouldn't really hurt. I mean, it wouldn't feel comfortable, but it's no where near the level of pain you get from a migraine and it doesn't take as long to kill you as a heart attack.
