Where Mike is in the background, going to town on this old dude on the kitchen counter stabbing him repeatedly with various kitchen knives while the dying wife is watching it unfold is the most savage shit I have ever seen.
I love the uncanny way michael moves during this scene. I wish it were on YouTube.

Michael was smart enough to make sure he was down for the count and didnt stop until the job was finished. That mod could have learned from that

Michael is very brutal and unstoppable. I'd hate to have him hunting me. Of all slasher villains, I think he's the one that would terrify me the most if he was real

I personally think Jason would be worse since he's an actual zombie. Michael only seems to fuck you up if you get in the way of him and the Myers house (at least in the current timeline)

Too bad the rest of the movie was awful, IMO Most disappointing movie for me last year by far.

I'm guessing you haven't seen many movies.

That scene was pretty mild.

If you skip past the towns folk scenes and watch mainly the scenes with just Michael then its an amazing slasher flick

I personally loved Kills.
It's worth watching just for Michael alone. As well as the fantastic soundtrack and the 1978 flashback.
The Donald Pleasance cameo was fantastic and the scene where Hawkins was trying to shoot Michael as he was calmly walking down the stairs and gave no shits is one of the bossest things I've seen.

I think the movie was going good till the car scene where that chicks shoots herself.

It got too dumb to take him seriously after that. It just regressed to cheesy.

Hard agree with all of this. As a big fan of the franchise this movie ticked all my boxes, borderline grateful for it... no subverted expectations just Michael unleashed.

I think I've realized that I've finally just moved past gore and slashers. Over-the-top scenes like that just actively disgust me nowadays.

That scene seemed to reinforce what the officer says later, that Michael is essentially a six-year-old boy with the strength of a man (or men) and the mind of an animal.

The way he grabs the knives and stabs the husband seems almost quizzically childlike.

The kills were realistic in this film. I'm a huge fan of slashers, but it always irked me when the victim would immediately die after being stabbed once.

Best movie I saw all year

I mean that. I LOVED Halloween Kills.

The Intro: Vs Firefighters
The midsection: Vs Jon & Jon
The ending: Vs Tommy Doyle & co.

Loved the hospital sequence. The Silver Shamrock kills. All of it. Omg

One of the worst Halloween sequels in the entire franchise, but that was a good scene.

I haven't seen but holy shit you have to re-examine that because Halloween has some absolutely shit level films to it's name.

I started learning it on piano XD

It's confusing. I refuse to listen to an actual recording or look up tabs, so I'm not sure when to change keys and whatnot lol

I'm kinda mixing it with Mr Sandman and Escape From New York, the Saw theme, and Mortal Kombat to fill it out

Maybe a little Terminator

Those Dance With The Dead tracks got to me hard

I still don't understand how Michael was able to get past everyone to stab Karen in the end.

Classic slasher moment tbh

That's Freddy's gag

There was a reason they did it, too. Halloween 2

And all that
