https://kdvr.com/news/local/grass-fires-spark-in-boulder-county-as-high-winds-pick-up/ 100+ MPH wind gusts have fed grass fires in the Boulder area, particularly devastating the towns of Superior and Louisville. Hundreds upon hundreds of homes lost, Broomfield is under an evacuation order and areas as far south as Denver suburb Arvada were issued a pre-evacuation notice. Cause so far appears to be downed power lines caused by the wind, and the area's had about an inch and a half of rain since August. This is rather awful. This shit is wild. Im going to have to get some clothes and shoes together to donate soon because there are already houses burned down. I hate to see it, but weve got to do what we can for the victims. Im not specifically in the area, but Im close enough to worry if this spreads to my city.
