it's fun to mix but seems to increase the effects of each other, so pace yourself. smoke first and then drink after. if you smoke after you've been drinking it's much more likely to cause a bad time.

You can't overdose on weed. You would need to smoke over 1pound in 15 minutes to overdose on weed. That's physically impossible.
Alcohol however...

That is not true. It is entirely possible to overdose on cannabis. It is impossible to fatally overdose on cannabis. The definition of overdose however is taking a dose larger than the normal or recommended dose resulting in adverse effects. For cannabis that can include an uncomfortably high heart rate, paranoia, anxiety, hallucinations, vomiting, etc.

All those effects, minus vomiting, can occur if you smoke the wrong strain for you. Every plant has different effects, and every person experiences the same plant slightly differently.
This is why growers will clone the good plants and use the clones to produce consistent effects.
Vomiting only occurs in less than 1% of chronic users. Weed is an anti-emitic, meaning it reduces vomiting. But constant overuse can have the opposite effect in a very small number of people. Again <1%

Been taking 3-4 shots of 40% abv liquor.

Then playing Halo or Mass Effect.

In my experience I build up a tolerance to concentrates way faster. Like carts or dabs the first time I hit a strain like one or two hits will have me good for a couple hours. After a while its like Im taking a hit every 30 minutes or so.

Flower is usually more consistent where its like a bowl will get me roasted if its good.

Cant speak for him but when youre working hourly over time is where its at.

That's a lot of money. I know I've been there.
I wanted to save some money, so I learned how to make edibles. Making your own edibles cuts the cost in half if you do it right.
