If we consider waifus as being the combination of personality and aesthetic/design, I haven't consumed any media relating to the non-FF7 characters (yeah I didn't have any Nintendo systems beyond a Game Boy growing up, sue me) so I can't speak to the former but just based on the latter, my rankings: (1) Rin: SSS+ tier. Literally know nothing about her other than her name and her look and it's enough to be my #3 remaining. (2) Tear: very strong waifu design, sad to see her go (3) Samus: Zero Suit Supreme (4) Chiaki: probably an instance where I need to watch/play Danganropa to appreciate the waifuitude, not getting it from her design (5) Zelda: the eternal "meh" (6) Alicia: in another universe she doesn't exist because "The Lost Room" was picked up to be a full series and Julianna Margulies continued to star in it so The Good Wife never existed (or was portrayed by a different actress) Damn I loved The Lost Room, so much potential lost... ...
