Do you think that brute should be held financially liable for this?

An unnamed Tennessee Man STRANGLED to death his neighbor's pet KANGAROO after he said it attacked his wife when they tried to lure it back into its enclosure!!

The shocking incident happened at Fern Valley Road property owned by Hope and Chris Lea when reports of 2 people who had been in a BATTLE with a male kangaroo named Carter

The owners came home to find the younger kangaroos surrounding Carter's dead body as hope says "He didn't have nowhere to go. He was choked to death in his own space"

Tennessee law allows people to own kangaroos with males costing 2000 and females at 3000

She said "We've had Carter since he was a little nugget. It's like losing a family member"

It started when the neighbors spotted Carter escaping his enclosure and jumping around the Lea's property. The neighbors called the Leas to see if they could get it back into its enclosure but they said they could feed it to lure him back into his area with the Lea's fenced in property

They said they would be home in an hour to take care of it.

But the female heifer claims the kangaroo ASSAULTED her when they entered the Lea's property in an effort to lure him back into the enclsoure and that's when the husband stepped in and began strangling it to death as neither neighbor were seriously hurt

Hope was screaming when she saw the dead body and seeing its babies standing around his dead body looking upset

They are now planning a potential lawsuit against them over the death as it's unclear if that man will be held responsible for killing Carter

Do you think that brute should be sued for this?

It would have been fine if the guy and his wife left it alone, but as soon as they went onto the neighbor's property they basically raised the liability against themselves. Heck, if they'd killed the kangaroo on their own property they'd have been fine as well.

Poor baby kangaroos though. ;-;

From an article:
"He called us and said, 'Hey, this kangaroo you need to keep your MFing animals contained', which they're contained. You're not contained you're on my property. And the whole time on he's on the phone with me, 'I'm strangling this MFer,'" said Lea.

Poor kangaroo

Yeah an actual good article said this dude was literally telling the owner over the phone that he was strangling the kangaroo while he was on the phone with him

I'm sure a dangerous kangaroo would allow itself to be strangled by a guy on the phone

Also according to the sheriff the kangaroo never left the owner's property and the killers trespassed

So much this.

If it was a threat to anyone that literally couldn't have happened.

Kangaroos knock motherfuckers out mo problem. And the body kicks are insane.

They went on someone else's property without permission and killed their animal. Of chose they should be held liable. Possibly even criminal charges.

Continuing off my question here..... if they had some form of permission, then the deciding factor seems to be: Did he go over there to rescue his wife from the animal? Or did he go back for revenge after she got away? If it's the former, in this situation if they were allowed to be there, I think what he did would be justified. If it was the latter, won't look so nice for him.

It never left the owners property. The kangaroo was in a fence and the neighbors went onto their property to strangle it. They were even told to not do anything by owner
