Song, one of the painters, told the Bangkok Post he looked down to see a pair of hands outside of a window roughly 10 floors down cutting their support rope and watched as it fell to the ground, leaving them without an anchor. He alerted two colleagues, who ran door to door to ask for help. The two painters were left to dangle in mid air until, finally, a couple on the 26th floor appeared to be home. ... Once down, Song told Satasing the culprit was a well-dressed woman. The workers went to the condo administration with what happened and alerted police, who sent the rope for forensic testing. Nichanan Toh, the 34-year-old woman accused of the crime, first denied she was involved, but when later presented with DNA evidence from the rope and video footage, admitted to the cutting but denied she was attempting to kill the two painters.
