i'm not saying they don't help or that everybody shouldn't wear them. Just asking how uncomfortable they are to you

Not uncomfortable at all, and I have asthma.

Only really annoying when they fog up my glasses otherwise I'm fazed in the slightest because I'm a tough guy mega patriot.

Not uncomfortable since I shaved my beard.

I understand theyre annoying for people with glasses due to fogging, though.

Very comfortable. My face gets cold during these winter months so it helps a lot with that.

I have a big head so sometimes it pulls on my ears a lot after extended wear.

As far as my face, not at all. It actually feels more pleasant in the winter.

It hurts a little around my ears depending on the strap, though

For the first year of the pandemic, I didn't have to wear one for very long, so I never got to see how annoying they can be. Recently, I've had to wear one for a minimum of 4 hours and I fucking hate the ear loop ones. Couldn't find a good balance of comfortable on the ears and snug enough for optimal protection. I switched to the ones with bands that go around the head and have no problems with them now, other than foggy glasses.

Kinda annoying. I don't generally bother wearing them outdoors anymore (although I'll note it's pretty low-risk where I am) unless it's mandatory and enforced; but I still do in indoor public spaces.

(Double-vaccinated, not eligible for a booster yet. Assuming the rules don't change again, it'll be mid-March when I can get it.)

Not at all uncomfortable, I actually like wearing them and do so even when outside.

They bother me a lot:

I have a beard so they are itchy.

Smelling my own breath sucks, as does breathing through a cloth.

I find it difficult to have a conversation with another masked person because I can't see their whole face or lips moving. We end up having to repeat ourselves a lot.

It's depressing being in a world of faceless people, like I'm in a sci fi dystopia.

As a germophobe, I think about all the spit that accumulates inside my mask and all the colonies of bacteria living there.

The only time I've ever had trouble wearing one was on the elliptical at a gym. Otherwise, no issue.

Had to wear one all the time back when I worked at Walmart, so I'm completely used to them by now. Not at all uncomfortable.

I do not wear a mask anymore unless a place of business has a sign of wear a mask inside. Cant stand the annoying fucking things, cant understand most people who wear a mask as they talk oh so quiet so they are muffled and not understandable.

I always laugh now at people who get pissed off when I ask them to lower the mask or speak up. Not my fault you speak like your trying to whisper.
