It's not wrong to want to take measures to protect from the virus, but it may be counterproductive to want another lockdown specifically. With a better understanding of the virus, signs pointing towards omicron being more mild, and a significant part of the population that is either vaccinated or have already received covid, another lockdown may end up just being a lot of damage for very little gain. The BBC wrote an article on this. If you're vaccinated and have no immune deficiencies, I think you should feel safe to live as normal. 99% of the people in the hospital are unvaxxed, so it's pretty clear the vaccines work. So no reason for lockdowns. ... Copied to Clipboard!
