legendarylemur 02/03/22 12:03:40 AM #464:	Man, in light of 2 more NijiKR members quitting, there was a fairly informative vid on it from a NijiKR centric clipper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9KXpOkZOi0&hd=1 Kinda sad but I guess there were too many cases of them being neglected or far too JP centric or the audience as a whole seemingly not gravitating towards syndications. KR audience for Holo has been growing but it's weirdly been centered around HoloEN contents, while NijiKR streamers are finding more success just pandering to Koreans as Indies. In terms of the Korean streaming sphere, I watch former League of Legends pros, like Ambition or Madlife, both of them being absolutely hysterical streaming prodigies, seemingly. I think KR style and JP style are fairly different in terms of streaming. It's hard to pinpoint what, but the contents they gravitate towards are so different that I think NijiKR as a sub-org just missed the spot so badly. Bora was popular mostly because she spoke perfect Japanese and Korean, so even if NijiKR leaned heavily towards JP pandering, she could be successful. However, even she wasn't so successful that she could put her other priorities on hold, which is why she graduated I think it's a cautionary tale on not half-assing shit, like when Niji just half-assedly re-labeled NijiIndia as NijiEN cuz most of them could sorta speak english. I think their JP and EN branches benefit from larger potential audiences in general, so even if they don't provide much support, the pool of potential viewers is large enough to make them viable. With them providing even less support for those other branches, I can't see them having a chance. It saddens me to see channels with hundreds of long videos spanning years of work with such low viewership and subscription numbers. I'm curious to see how a HololiveKR would fare. They seemed to hint at it during Kiara's Holotalk interview with Yagoo. Hell, I'm curious to see how male HololiveEN talents would fare. A group of independents under an umbrella group as opposed to an actual talent agency-ish set up like Hololive. Pomu talked about it once, and said something along the lines of Nijisanjis management being more the type that would be there to do crazy stuff with you as opposed to reign it in, unless you start going way too far. As for NijiKR, think they more or less are getting the NijiIN treatment where they kinda toe dipped in to the market, they went harder with KR but it still has a very "side project" feel to it, which has to really suck. The male talents at Nijisanji do so much better in both the Japanese and English branches. Selen and Rosemi are probably the best gaming stream wise, both are hilarious too, once again they pretty regularly collab too so it's a good starting point. legendarylemur 02/04/22 6:45:41 AM #481:	I just caught Aqua getting Apex Master solo live. She absolutely deserved it. Was playing utterly out of her freaking mind imo. She started from 9100 and got to master, which is 10000. She played very differently from when I watched her last year, which she abandoned and ratted a lot for points. It's a valid strat but clearly there's a limit to it. This run, she decided to just high roll for a devotion and just win fights by herself. kirbymuncher 02/04/22 3:14:53 PM #484:	aqua finally making solo master is the greatest redemption arc, failed it last time -> quit apex for an entire year (considered quitting forever) -> come back somehow playing way better than before and actually succeed she was so stressed over it last time, got up to diamond 1 and then dropped back to diamond 2 in the end, had 10ish hour streams multiple days in a row, ended up so bothered by her own performance and some harsh comments she'd see from people that she took an overall streaming break after the season ended since she was having nightmares about losing apex points. this last stream, the moment after she had 2 very good first games and changed the stream title from solo master challenge: day 9 mid-stream into solo master endurance stream was so hype and I don't even know anything about apex --- THIS IS WHAT I HATE A BOUT EVREY WEBSITE!!
