I had a nightmare recently where I had an arranged marriage with some girl. I just remember feeling dread or something And kept trying to find a way out of it. But we also had to move

For recurring dreams, its not usually the dream that recurs, but the dream world I go to. Its just adds to the world every time I go

I did have a replay of a dream once. But since I knew what happened last time, I was able to change it and make it better since I could make sure the bomb didnt go off And things were better, I guess

Anyway, lets talk about dreams

my most common one is being on an airplane. sometimes it crashes, sometimes it turns into something that im supposed to drive or fly, sometimes it only flies like 10m off the ground and swerves round trees and buildings.

I almost never remember my dreams and usually theyre super mundane if I do. Like going to work. I never have super powers or see any crazy shit.

The last nightmare I had was at least 5 years ago. A zombie apocalypse where they are dull and slow and completely safe during the day but at night to super aggro and super fast. I remember being on a plane that would stay up all night and land during the day across country except someone tried to pack themselves into luggage and died on the flight and woke up once it got dark and started fucking shit up. The plane ended up crashing. The zombies where super fast changing too.

Have you ever thought about trying to have a lucid dream?

And the zombie sound like the ones from Dying Light. They got crazy at night. And the plane thing reminds me of a show called Into the Night. Except they were running away from the Sun...

Most recent dream I remember was I was sentenced to prison yet they'd still pull me out to work as a correctional officer. We are so short staffed thats likely what caused the dream. We have a lot of officers that should be fired but we are too short staffed

Reoccuring dreams? Coming back to school after missing a lot of days and being worried and panicked about being able to pass.

The other night, I had a dream where I farted, which I thought was too quiet to hear, but then my girlfriend was like "did you just fart?" and I said "yeah," then she said "oof, that's a rank one" and then I sniffed and it was indeed a rank one. Then the dream ended.

So many dreams and so many nightmares. A lot I wrote down.

I love horror films like Friday The 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween. The originals of course. I also love The Ring but it's the only horror film that truly scares me and gives me nightmares. I've had many nightmares about Samara and some of them are not as clear as they were years ago but I'll try to explain the best I can.

One of them was just where I was in my mother's house I used to live in back in the 90's and my bedroom was downstairs and the living room, kitchen and other bedrooms were upstairs. I dreamed that I was in my bedroom and Samara was upstairs sitting in the living room on the couch waiting for me. I didn't go upstairs but I just know I was terrified that she was in the living room.

There was another one that I remember she was actually coming after me trying to kill me. I can't remember a whole lot but I just remember running for my life.

I know there were others where she was running after me as well. I just woke up in total fear and sweating every time.

After I saw The Ring Two in the theater, I had the worst of them that to this day, I'll never forget. All of a sudden, I heard Samara actually speaking to me in that same voice you hear her in The Ring. What she said to me is the worst of it all because it wasn't a line from the film or anything like that. It was her voice but the truly terrifying part of it was what she told me. She said "I never sleep because I'm not dead yet." I remember I was trying to wake myself up but I couldn't. I couldn't move and I was scared to death. She was saying all these other things that I couldn't understand. She was mumbling I guess. The whole time I was trying to wake up. Then the very last thing she said to me was "wake up." I woke up sweating and it was still dark outside and I couldn't go back to sleep. Not one of those things she said to me was something she actually said in the films. Yes, Aiden told Rachel that she never sleeps but for Samara to actually tell me "I never sleep because I'm not dead yet" was completely something that not only she didn't actually say in the films but it's something I will never forget for the rest of my life. It was after this nightmare that I decided to get rid of my DVDs of The Ring and Rings. I never got The Ring Two.

I dont ever remember my dreams, however my husband's meds make him have nightmares just about every night. The stories he tells about them scare the absolute shit out of me, so I'm glad I dont experience anything like that.

May I ask what he takes? I've heard of bad side effects but that sounds unbearable unless he can appreciate fear

He claims he is pretty desensitized, but the things he tells me dont sound like the sort of stuff I'd be ok with no matter how many times, and that's just the ones he tells me about. I'm guessing the ones he doesnt are worse.

I can usually tell the mornings when one of them is getting to him, and I almost never ask, because I dont really like to hear about it.

The dreams I remember recently have all turned lucid at a point, like I'll point out to other people in the dream that I'm dreaming and can therefore do anything, and I prove it by like making tables appear out of nowhere and shit

I smoke a lot of weed so I don't dream much, it's a weird side effect
