If there was one issue for which I could get everyone on the same page, it would be that we should all fight racism. Fight racism first, hunger second, cancer third. That's my list of priorities. I'm not indifferent to gun control or abortion laws. But if I had to pick one hill to die on, it would be the anti-racist hill.

There's certainly an argument to be had that placing any priority higher than fighting racism is racist, but the same argument could be turned back on anything else.

If I were wealthy and donated to social justice causes, someone could claim that I was "pro-cancer" for not donating that money to cancer research.
