If there was a God, and he was truly all-good, all-knowing, and all-powerful, he would end the human race. The fact that we are still here says it all.

Also, once you get to know the size and scale of the universe, the notion of a sky-daddy watching over us, and only us, in all the vastness of space, is maniacally narcissistic.

The world "right now" is probably the most civil it's ever been. Before the 19th century the world was full of conquering, raping, slavery, and pillaging. That sort of thing is frowned upon these days.

Yep. People are always looking for something to complain about. Lately it's mostly first world problems. The system isn't perfect at all and I hate it for the most part, but I'm healthy, never hungry, and have a roof over my head. It could be worse.

Bible never says there isnt others god watches after. Bible just only pertains to us on earth.

I'm no Christian just saying

I do believe something created us though. Whether it knowingly did or it was a force of nature thing that did so unknowingly is matter for debate

But I could never be satisfied with a answer. If something created us, what created it? And then what created that and so on times infinity. I just cant comprehend something popping into existence out of nothing.

Interesting concept though. What if God isnt immortal or atleast can have their throne so to speak taken from them. Could explain changes in the world like the first was just happy with earth being molten lava. One liked dinosaurs being on top the dark ages where technology advancement came to a halt vs now where it rapidly advances and so forth.

God: I am your creator and you are my chosen people. I helped your ancestors and killed those who opposed me. Follow these laws and burn lots of meat in my name because I love that smell. Dont make me angry, you do not want to see me angry...

Thinking about it, it would make more sense if God was a mod... first he is happy to be a new mod and follows the rules, then he slowly gets tired of everybody breaking the rules all the time so he stops caring, and then he gets replaced by a new mod.

It is all in what you believe. I believe love exists, therefore I believe God exists, and do what many believe cant be done which is to love others regardless of who they are.
There is a never ending supply of opportunity in this belief.

If I was an all-powerful god, I'd want everyone to know I exist. I'd show them something. This alleged God we have hasn't shown us a fucking thing besides some old book that's been edited hundreds of times to meet the current world leader's standards. A fake book. Good job, God.

And this is what faith is. It's believing in something blindly so you don't feel bad when you die.

That's it. We're shown no proof of anything, but want to believe it so we think there's some great heaven after we die rather than absolutely nothing.
