Why is it that when I try to breathe deeply I break out into machine gun coughs as if Im General Greivous? adjl 12/19/21 9:24:48 AM #4:	Your lungs/bronchi are still irritated. You may not still be actively producing mucus (if they aren't productive coughs, you aren't producing any more than usual), but it'll take some time for that irritation to heal. Just take it easy and contact a doctor if it doesn't improve at all or if it gets worse. --- This is my signature.
