He was rushed to hospital after officers found him suffering a gunshot wound when they responded to reports of gunfire at 5:30pm in Savannah He was transported to Memorial Medical Centre where he died as a result Police confirmed it was his 1 y/o son, Mars Cameron Walters was the one who pulled the trigger. It was also known that his wife, Tori and other family members were present at the time of the shooting as well An investigation found that the toddler found the handgun on the FLOOR and fired at his direction where he may have spotted his son holding the gun and attempting to grab it away from him before the boy pulled the trigger. An obituary describes him as a father who worked for Nelson Company, a real estate development company Police Chief Roy Minter said "As a parent, i cannot imagine what this family is going through or will continue to go through in the coming years.
