Almost no game outside of NE/Indy and Cin/Den has had any meaningful impact. Basically, if you went 2-0 in those two games, you had a good week. If you went 0-2, you had a bad week. If you went 1-1, congrats you're basically not moving anywhere. (Except for Reg, the only person of any relevance on the Texans)

Ok, the only two people who mattered.

I'm kind of surprised so many people picked the Jags and that they were like 5 point favorites. Firing Meyer doesn't mean the stink he put on the team is gone.

The Texans found a way to outJet the Jets at home.

Like hell I was picking that.

Davis Mills looked like a competent QB today. I did not expect the Jaguars to be so bad that he would look competent.

The Texans are incapable of winning two games in a row so they were doomed from the start against the Jets

And this is the third straight week where SNF is a stomp by a team that's favored by over 10 points that I won't watch a down of. Isn't one of the points of flex scheduling to be able to get rid of awful primetime games?

And it's not getting any better from here! Dallas is already favored by 10 over WFT next Sunday night~

And then we get primetime Kirk Cousins against the Packers who already blew a game to the Vikings who will probably be favored by like 7.5, and somehow be a marked improvement over the 4 weeks in a row of trash.

Also I just noticed something. With the Colts and Bengals both winning, the Ravens are not currently in a playoff spot.

They've already dropped out!

..And if the Browns win, the Bills also drop out.

Wow.

And there's very much a scenario that can drop Tennessee out, actually. If they lose home games to the 49ers and Dolphins coming up, they could find themselves in a situation in week 18 where they need help to get in.

And those won't be easy games.

The Pats basically have to lose out to miss, which would require dropping a home game to the Jags. They can be in 7th at 10-7, but it would take an extremely specific and unlikely scenario.

Amazingly, the Colts get the #1 seed in the AFC under one of these scenarios.

Edit: If Tennessee beats SF, the chances the Pats can miss at 10-7 get much higher, actually. I forgot to change that game back.

The Packers are the first team to clinch a playoff spot

Unfortunately for the Dolphins, they have 0 guarantee that winning out and going to 10-7 even gets them in, because they got swept by the Bills. This effectively means that, should the Pats beat the Bills, the Bills then most likely go 10-7 and completely murder the Dolphins.

The Dolphins are rooting very very hard for the Bills to take the Pats down. They need the Bills winning the division so they can TB the Pats off of the wildcard by beating them week 18.

Regular season Saints own the Bucs for some reason and I guess I just have to accept it.

Brady's not even playing bad today, he got sacked because Wirfs got beat which is an incredible rarity.

It won't look good in the box score unless something changes

Brady has had some games where he hasn't played great but the box score looks good

Also Rodgers' first game of the season (against these saints) is god awful lol

If you're going to have a stinker better to do it in the first game of the season because then it gets forgotten!

But regarding I think Rodgers will get punished for the Covid stuff (plus he already won last year) so I don't think he's going to win unless he gives voters no choice

It usually does apply when Brady is the QB so maybe that's their secret

When Tampa beat the ever loving hell out of the Saints in the playoffs last year, I figured they had gotten over... Whatever the hell this is.

defense has been fine

I picked the Saints to cover cause the Bucs usually struggle with them, should have had the guts to pick them straight up

I get that when your QB has won 7 times and is the GOAT people will jerk themselves off to a bad game but watching the amount of drops this game kind of makes me want to throw up for Brady here heh.
