Back in my day kids just did the knockout game and gallon SMASHING.

When I was a kid, things werent nearly as bad. At worst there were kids trying to get high on cough syrup. There werent idiots who would:

• File down their teeth
• Consume laundry detergent
• Rip peoples hair out
• Knock someones legs out when theyre jumping and cause them to smash the back of their head
• Light themselves on fire
• Threaten to shoot up the school

Or maybe the people I grew up with weren't complete dumbfucks? Pretty sure if some idiot set fire to himself, it would be on the news or in the newspaper, even though we didn't have the internet back then.

I had a friend that put his arm on fire, but the news never reported that.

As in just his arm or literally head to toe in flames? Because people catching on fire isn't rare. People completely engulfing themselves in fire and the mom being the one recording is news-worthy.

I know people always say that the younger generation is worse, but...the younger generation is worse.

Way to fixate on the wrong thing. Shit doesnt need to be recorded to be on the news bro; a good majority of the time they just show the aftermath. Or do you honestly not see why someones arm accidentally catching on fire isnt the same as someone intentionally setting his entire body ablaze when it comes to stupidity?

Where are the actual tiktok posts threatening to shoot up schools? No news stories or forum threads I've read actually link to them.

I heard on the news on the radio this morning Tik Tok is saying they haven't found proof of this yet. Now they could be lying but is it possible someone photoshopped a tiktok and the boomers started freaking the fuck out and now there's cops at half the schools in the country?

Edit: Actually, it wouldn't be the boomers. Their kids are us. It would be us, the (assuming) millennials.

Stupidity because of negligence is still stupidity, did the news back then category everything in different levels of stupidity and only take the worst levels?

Hopefully it's a hoax. Every once in a while something like this goes around, rather on reddit, or Yik Yak or whatever, and they don't amount to anything.

Tho as the hubby to a teacher it was a little weird kissing her goodbye this morning.

Stupidity because you knowingly hurt yourself for no reason > stupidity because of negligence. Its really not a hard concept to grasp.

Enough with your fixation on the news though, thats not even the point. But to answer your question, stupidity played no role in what was shown. Because like I said before, full body Human Torch person on fire > accidental moped repair fire.
